Instead of loading raw Ct data it is possible to load pre-grouped data directly from a spreadsheet.  This is the fastest method of inputting Ct data as the user is no longer required to specify the experiment design using drag-and-drop in PowerNest.

Once satisfied that the file has been loaded click the banner for section 3 and proceed to the design modification section.

Specify the file in PowerNest using the ‘Select file’ button to the left of the table.  In order that the pre-grouped data be recognised by PowerNest they must be presented in a specific format (an example of which can be downloaded using the link to the left).  The data must be in 5 columns, the first 4 specifying the grouping and the 5th holding the Ct values.

Data provided in this format will be read and automatically grouped by PowerNest.

The grouping of the input data can be easily verified; selecting a node of the tree will highlight the table cells above corresponding to the data contained within that node and all sub-nodes.
